Glamorous Wellness Life is an independent site about the wellness treatments, supplements and gadgets that fill spa menus and social feeds in the U.S. We like a good sauna as much as anyone. We also like to know what a treatment actually does before we pay for it.
Why this site exists
Wellness is full of good ideas and expensive promises, often in the same sentence. A treatment can feel wonderful and still not do what the label says, or carry risks the brochure leaves out. We try to separate the two, without sneering at anyone for being curious.
How we look at a trend
Every guide answers the same three questions:
- What does the research say? Including when the studies are small, short or paid for by the company selling the product.
- Who should skip it, or ask a doctor first? Pregnancy, common medicines and health conditions change the answer for a lot of people.
- If you try it, what should you watch for? Doses, credentials, warning signs and how to tell if it’s working.
Our starting points are the National Institutes of Health, including the Office of Dietary Supplements and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, along with the Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, MedlinePlus and published research. We use AI tools to help research and draft our guides, and we check the facts in each one against those sources before it’s published.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell supplements, devices or treatments, and we don’t run ads, affiliate links or sponsored posts. We don’t test products ourselves, and we aren’t medical professionals. Nothing on this site is medical advice; for decisions about your own health, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Who’s behind it
Guides are published under the byline Glamorous Wellness Life Editorial. If something we’ve written is wrong or out of date, we want to know. Our contact page has the details.
